This is a weekly 8-week class.
No quilting experience necessary, but you must have completed Kids Sewing Level 1 to take this class.
For ages 9-15
Students in this level 2 class will learn introduction to quilting. In this class we'll be choosing fabric for making a patchwork bed sized quilt.
We'll learn to confidently use a rotary cutter and ruler for cutting fabric squares for quilting. How to use a quarter inch seam, nesting, patchwork, quilt sandwich, quilting and binding. how to use a sewing machine, threading, winding bobbin and choosing stitches.
All fabric, sewing supplies and machines are provided.
